Karol Krawczynski - Fighter Pilot turned Flting Instructor
Born in 1915, Krawczynski fought in both the Polish campaign and the Battle of France. He joined 303 Sqn but ill health precluded his flying in the Battle of Britain. He served as Flying Instructor at 25 (Polish) EFTS at RAF Hucknall; our first trace of him flying R4769 is an instructional flight with Marian Michalak on 12 October 1942. More to follow.
